01 · PRODUCT DETAILS

Start with the pot or tray

Measure the internal diameter and usable depth of your pot or cell. Then define the required hydrated volume and compressed disc dimensions. A coin that fits dry may expand beyond the intended cell, so evaluate the hydrated product before confirming the order.

Send your tray drawing or pot dimensions with the sample request. Available diameters, thicknesses and order quantities are confirmed in the quotation.

Coins, discs and seed-starting pellets are overlapping buying terms. Specify whether you need loose expanded media or a contained plug; do not assume every disc is a netted pellet.

03 · PRODUCT DETAILS

Test hydration and sowing

Place the sample in its intended pot or tray with room for expansion.
Add suitable water progressively, following the sample instructions.
Check that the centre is hydrated and record the resulting volume and fit.
Assess drainage and sowing depth for your crop before scaling up.

Record the sample grade, water and preparation conditions. Compare with propagation cubes and screened seedling substrates if your system needs a different format.
