THE COCOPEAT CONNECTION

Why the root zone matters

Young or partially filled coir zones may draw less water than the dosing equipment needs for stable operation.

01 / OBSERVE

Three checks before you change anything

  1. Compare actual zone flow with the injector’s specified operating range.
  2. Verify dilution during the smallest and largest intended zones.
  3. Record any pulsing, missed strokes or unstable final-feed EC.

02 / NARROW IT DOWN

Which zone fails the check?

Choose the closest observation for a suggested next check.

Only the smallest zone

Ask the designer to adapt equipment or zoning without overwatering plants to satisfy the injector.

Every zone

Review calibration, stock supply and installation faults.

No measured failure

Keep the verified flow range in the operating procedure.

03 / TAKE THE NEXT STEP

Leave with something useful

Recheck after removing plants or changing emitter counts.

Keep in mind

Do not assume an injector calibrated at high flow remains accurate at every lower flow.
