Feed & EC · WITH DRIP

Can low EC explain slow growth in cocopeat?

Low EC can be one clue, but it cannot distinguish every cause of slow growth.

THE COCOPEAT CONNECTION

Why the root zone matters

A lightly charged substrate and a weak feed may leave a crop short of nutrients, while damaged roots can also slow growth.

01 / OBSERVE

Three checks before you change anything

  1. Verify the sample type and crop target
  2. Check feeding delivery and plant roots
  3. Review light and temperature changes

02 / NARROW IT DOWN

What else do you find?

Choose the closest observation for a suggested next check.

Weak feed at emitters

Check the mixing and delivery system before increasing the recipe.

Healthy roots but low growth

Review nutrition and growing conditions together.

Damaged roots

Investigate root health before strengthening feed.

03 / TAKE THE NEXT STEP

Leave with something useful

Compare a healthy reference group using the same test method.

Keep in mind

Do not pursue a higher EC number without a crop-specific reason.
