THE COCOPEAT CONNECTION

Why the root zone matters

A coir slab changes during hydration, so a single unqualified dimension can create misunderstandings.

01 / OBSERVE

Three checks before you change anything

  1. Identify the measurement stage and preparation method.
  2. Agree which length, width and height measurements are critical to the layout.
  3. Document acceptable variation and the method used to measure representative units.

02 / NARROW IT DOWN

Which dimension matters most?

Choose the closest observation for a suggested next check.

Bench fit

Specify the prepared footprint and check it against the supporting surface.

Plant spacing

Confirm the relationship between bag length and planned planting positions.

Packing fit

Record compressed dimensions separately from the growing dimensions.

03 / TAKE THE NEXT STEP

Leave with something useful

Approve a dimension drawing and trial sample before ordering custom units.

Keep in mind

Do not treat compressed thickness as the final root-zone height.
