THE COCOPEAT CONNECTION

Why the root zone matters

Different materials can wet differently, leaving the plug dry even when the bag feels moist.

01 / OBSERVE

Three checks before you change anything

  1. Inspect plug-to-substrate contact
  2. Check actual water delivery to the plug
  3. Review heat exposure and root damage during planting

02 / NARROW IT DOWN

What do you find?

Choose the closest observation for a suggested next check.

Dry plug, wet bag

Adjust establishment watering to reach the plug.

Loose contact or air gaps

Review planting technique and settle the medium appropriately.

Both wet with persistent wilting

Assess root injury, climate and disease symptoms.

03 / TAKE THE NEXT STEP

Leave with something useful

Compare newly planted and established plants and record recovery.

Keep in mind

Do not bury the crown deeply as a universal solution.
